Although Meng regarded her internship as rewarding and helpful in discovering new possibilities and work options in museums, she, like many others, came across some difficult and challenging aspects. During her daily opening and closing duties, Meng often noticed the edges of many 3D signs to be crooked and torn. Although she brought this to the attention of her supervisor, it was not a primary concern for the staff at the time. Secondly, she was involved in the creation of activities for high school seniors. This activity was developed to cater to the academic work the students were doing. Although Meng created a wonderful activity, the docents were reluctant to participate in the activity because they did not want addition work or the responsibility of working with children. However, it worked out in the end and Meng regards all of her coworkers as very nice and hard working professionals.
